New Beginnings

It has been quite a while since you have heard from The Masterbeatz staff and I'm sure you've been wondering where we've been. Not to worry, we're not quite gone yet. Our music tastes have brought us onto a new path. It might not be for you, but it couldn't hurt to check it out. You can find us on Youtube under www.youtube.com/goldcoastmusic1

Stop by and check it out.
Here's a puppy to make you feel better.

I Knew You Were Trouble - WALK OFF THE EARTH Feat. KRNFX

If you haven't heard of these guys the you're definitely missing out. Walk Off The Earth became a youtube sensation with their cover of Somebody I Used To Know all on one guitar. I'm usually not one to post covers,  but this one impressed me quite a bit. Covering a fantastic song, depending on who you ask, they combine an all-natural a capella background with some clean vocals from the lead singer. Wait a minute or so for some cool dubstep beat-boxing. Enjoy!

Lies (Zeds Dead) - Marina and the Diamonds

Just to top off the last post, here is a subtle piece of dubstep. And yes, I said piece. I have been notoriously opposed to the rancid sound of chainsaws and drowning cats (dubstep), but Zeds Dead's remix of this Marina and the Diamonds classic, as it overlaps into the progressive house reigns, truly has a feel good nature to it. A nice beat, a nice voice, a nice drop. That's all a good song needs. This is a good song.

Are You That Somebody (Hucci Girl Remix) - Aaliyah

Its been a long time. I know. Like a really long time. But as always, I'm back, and better than ever. Not sure about my buddy Masterbeatz, but I am loaded with ill tracks for this month and I'll go ahead and start it off with a relaxed trap song for all you sunday morning snoozers out there. Turn it up loud and start pre-relaxing for this weekend. ENJOY!!!

Baauer - Live On Rinse FM

Been gone for a long time, sorry guys, but we'll be back periodically. Right now its just too busy to be updating regularly. Nevertheless, be ready to expect some dirty tracks from all Genres (except for House, for that visit www.the-household.com). To start it off tonight we have a great compilation of several tracks on Rinse FM, by my favorite up-and-coming trap DJ Baauer. Mad Decent's prospect has not disappointed, just listen in if you want some proof. ENjoy

Spectrum (Calvin Harris Extended Remix) - Florence + The Machine

"Summer Song of 2012" I'm quoting myself here just to emphasize the intelligence of my past statement. This is a house song and typically these are posted to The-household.com. However, this is my favorite songs. And this is the platform for my favorite songs isn't it?

Money Right - Sharam Jey

I think by now you might've realized that the posting at Masterbeatz is not as consistent as it should be. But quality. It's still quality.

Blue Jeans (Count Ninjula Remix) - Lana Del Rey

Haha. I was trying to figure out what labels to put on this song and I couldn't. I have absolutely no idea what the genre of this song is. Chill Progressive Vocal Dubstep? I guess. Something I do know though is that they work together and Count Ninjula (Great Name) did a great job putting the track together so go ahead and download his song and continue to support him.

Newlands (SebastiAn Remix) - Justice

I've been gone for a while and I must apologize for that, but I don't think you'll be too pissed at me after  hearing this track. I'm usually not a fan of posting from Youtube, but this was the only embed available. Neither am I a fan of using this newly found word "SWAG". Haha, I love correcting myself. THIS TRACK HAS GOT SWAG. Enjoy!

Rave Nation - Jaz von D

Puppy's Feelin' the beat. ENjoy!

Electro Zombie - Chuckie

THIS IS SOME FUCKING HEAVY ELECTRO, CRAZY SHIT!!!

Rise & Fall - Adeventure Club ft. Krewella

Adventure Club is finally back and is once again hitting hard with their one-of-a-kind progressive dub step. Enjoy!!!

Splitting Colors - Lemaitre

I posted a Lemaitre track a few weeks ago and with Splitting Colors he has maintained his position as the leader on my top played. Splitting Colors is one of the many perfect summer tracks on Lemaitre's new Album Relativity 2. Congrats Lemaitre, you have once again put a smile on my face. Enjoy!

Move to the Ocean - Baauer

Once again I have to emphasize, this guy is fucking crazy. I posted one of his songs earlier this week and I recently came upon this one and, if you're into crazy shit like this, he's knocked out of the park once again. Hope You Like It!!!

Pumped Up Kicks - Dubstep Dance

This is just about my favorite video out there and I thought it would be a shame if you guys didn't see it. This guy is a crazy dancer, like no other. Enjoy! (P.S. The song is pretty good too if you're into dub step)

Pink Elephants - Daladubz

Definitely Interesting

Demons (Diplo Remix) - Sleigh Bells

Hahahahahha!!! I fell outta my chair when the bass hit. This shit is ridiculous. If you haven't noticed, Diplo has become my and Masterbeatz's favorite musician out there and here he's proven why. Tuuuurrrrn up the BASS!!!

Finally (ELKAT DUBSTEP REMIX) - Kings of Tomorrow

Sorry for not posting any dubstep in a while, but this is most definitely make-up worthy. It's completely unknown remix of an older track and has really got a good balance of vocal to wobble. Enjoy!

Yaow! - Baauer

Hooolllyyy Shittt!!! Thats all I can say! Hooooollllyyy Shiiit!!! This guy must be fuming crazy, cuz his music makes me wanna laugh and blow my browns out at the she time. It's fucking crazy. Hope You like it and check out some of his other shit sometime too.

Home - Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeroes

Hippies!!! Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeroes are some of the only hippies that have been able to successfully convince me of the benefit of their lifestyle. All three of the songs are older and I love them all, but starting at 4:50 is Home: by far my favorite. Give it a listen and it will carry you through these last few weeks of school. Enjoy
